Grove Park Inn, Asheville

The Grove Park Inn is a wonderful escape. Located on top of Asheville it was built in the early 1900’s and has seen multiple U.S. presidents and celebrities visit. I love the big fire places that bookend the cozy and spacious lobby. I tend to spend entire Sundays there as they sell the NY times.

I am wondering if you’d let me use your sketch of the Grove Park Inn to put in a t-shirt I’m planning to design. Is that a possibility?

There would be copyright issues with the Grove Park if you plan to sell your shirts. Are you planning on selling them?

Nope.

Nope. This would be a tshirt used for a reunion. Just going to our small group of girls. I just liked the sketch.

Okay send me a pic of the group wearing the shirts so I can post it on the blog. I have a higher res version of the pic for better quality if you wish.

The higher resolution would probably be preferable. Thank you so much!! Would you like to send it via email? Do you have my email address from my comments? And I will certainly take a pic and send it to you. Thanks, again!! I’m really thrilled.

Yes sure, the only thing is that I’m away from my computer that has all the images. I’ll be back after the holiday and send it to you. Just let me know the images you like and I’ll send then. They are originally not much bigger than 6 x 8 so you may have to do some layout.

Question: I’m a terrible procrastinator and have put this project off longer than I really should have. The company I’m having make the tshirts has guaranteed they can get me the order in time for the reunion if I get it ordered by July 6. Will you be in a position to email it by then, or should I have them do their best with what I have here? I’m sorry to put pressure on you.
