Fall Trees

It’s started and I wanted to get an early start on the fall foliage.  These are three different styles of trees and as I try to capture a true representation as possible it is sometimes good to try to simplify or stylize the essentials so as not to get too lost in the details.  This time of year it’s so difficult to capture what nature does so beautifully and as things start to change rapidly you have to be willing to experiment a little.  Pretty soon all the leaves will be gone and with it 7 months of monotony, but then you have plenty of time to focus on bare trees and pines.
