One of the rare times I get to paint a fruit tree in full bloom. The flowers only last a few days and then they blow off.

Spring’s first Trillium

The first digital sketch of spring and I tried to capture the trillium that start to emerge in early May. I love this time of year as there are no bugs yet so you can sit in the woods and actually sketch something.
Here’s a video capture of the sketch that took about an hour and a half to draw and 2 minutes in time lapse…
